2x LINUX/SOLARIS 1st Line Support - Leading Hedge Fund (up to £60k) Perm

Server NOC Engineers x2 required by leading Hedge Fund, The Network Operations Center (NOC) provides 24x7 monitoring and 1st level support for the firm’s computing infrastructure. Daily Responsibilities include Monitoring the infrastructure systems for problems (including servers, networking, storage, site and job scheduling, Troubleshooting issues as they arise as well as escalation to 2nd/3rd level support personnel as needed. Skills required LINUX, UNIX and WINDOWS also scripting in bsh or PERL, any VMWARE or SOLARIS 10 and exposure to SAN or NAS advantageous although not essential.
